The gothic v krinkle design is a slightly advanced pattern to tie. Starting with a folded shirt, the design is marked out free hand. Pleated folds are then placed along the marked line and tied. The tee shirt is then dyed in bands of color in this order: yellow, orange, red, blue (overlaps yellow to make green) and purple. The background "krinkle" area is dyed blue and purple.
